We are now looking for a skilled and committed Electronics Engineer to join our dedicated development team.
The Position:
As an Electronics Engineer at SGM Lighting, you will play a key role in the design and development of electronics for our professional lighting products. You will work closely with our experienced design team to ensure our products meet the highest standards for quality, functionality, and durability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing electronics for professional lighting products – with a special focus on EMC compatibility and robustness.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, and planning and executing EMC testing in collaboration with external test labs.
- Performing internal pre-tests – an area where your skills and interests can make a real difference.
- Developing test equipment and tools for verifying electronic designs.
- Collaborating across disciplines in product development projects.
- Documenting both design work and test results.
We expect that you have:
- A degree in electronics engineering or a similar technical background.
- Practical experience in EMC design and testing.
- Experience in designing SMPS & LED drivers, as well as communication interfaces such as RS485, Ethernet, and wireless technologies.
- Understanding and hands-on experience with thermal design and calculation/simulation.
- Preferably experience with OrCAD Capture (not a requirement, but an advantage).
- A structured and analytical approach to your work – both independently and in teams.
