We are now seeking an experienced lighting Repair Technician to help our US technical service center operations, located in Orlando, FL.
The role will incorporate (but is not limited to) the following key responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and servicing of LED lighting fixtures and other entertainment lighting products.
- Accurately diagnose and document the evaluation and repair of SGM products in the SGM repair database.
- Maintain and track spare parts used in repairs.
- Assisting with scheduled inventory cycle counts as well as maintaining an adequate inventory of spare parts.
- Assist with providing customers with technical assistance via phone or email as needed.
- Available to travel to provide onsite support or assist with tradeshow setup as needed.
- Maintain the highest level of Customer satisfaction at all times.
Personal skills and qualifications
- 3 years of experience in repair/service of entertainment/architectural lighting equipment, other electro-mechanical equipment or equivalent combination of education/training in military, technical schools, or a related field.
- Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to isolate, identify, and correct various mechanical and electrical issues.
- Exceptional analytical skills; self-starter and solution-oriented individual with the ability to prioritize work on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Must be familiar and able to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
- Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Office, with expertise in Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Knowledge of DMX, Art-Net and sACN configuration and best practices.
- Basic understanding of computer networking as it pertains to the entertainment industry.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
